Chef Frank Aussem and his team combine the highest quality of local ingredients with the creative ideas of international cuisine. The use of fresh, local products is a top priority for Frank, as he sees it as being the best way to guarantee the very best standards for his dishes.

The wine list also reflects the diversity of the Middle Rhine. Selected local wine producers enchant with their classy Riesling wines and fruity Pinot Noirs.

Our gourmet restaurant 'Silcher Stuben' was completed in mid-2011, perfectly complementing our gastronomic offer. Together with the castle restaurant 'Auf Scharffeneck', with its winter garden, and the historic castle tavern 'Der Landgraf', with its World Heritage terrace, we offer guests a choice of rustic, regional and fine gourmet cuisine.

A perfect evening can be rounded off in our little smoking bar 'De Backes' with a variety of cigars, whiskeys and beers.
